Celeb chef Nobu Matsuhisa to debut Nobu food festival at Atlantis, The Palm
The first ever World of Nobu event in Dubai will welcome over 21 Nobu chefs from 10 countries at Dubai’s Atlantis, The Palm for a two-day culinary celebration.
The collection of dining events, which take place October 16 and 17, have been labelled by organisers as ‘the ultimate culinary experience’ and will draw executive and sushi chefs from Malibu, London, Tokyo, Cape Town, Milan, Mykonos and other Nobu restaurant locations.
The launch night will be held at Asateer at Atlantis, kicking off with a ticketed cocktail party and a surprise guest DJ on Thursday night. The soir?e will also feature the maker ofHokusetsu Sake who will be pouring drinks and giving insights into the beverage, which is preferred sake of Nobu restaurants.
On Friday afternoon the Global Tasting Festival takes place, offering guests more than 80 dishes from Nobu restaurants around the globe as part of a special menu – several are pictured above.
nd later in the evening, World of Nobu concludes with a six-course gala dinner from 8pm, with live cooking demonstrations and entertainment from Salha and The Million Dollar Band.
Chef Nobu Matsuhisa will be present, sharing about the techniques that paved his success. The dinner includes paired beverages and will cost AED 995 ($270).
Tickets for the launch party start at AED 450 (US $122.50) and the Global Tasting Festival “brunch” will cost AED 595 ($162), including unlimited food and spirits.

“Nobu has long set the standard for Japanese cuisine and this event will raise the culinary bar even higher,” he added.
The hotel has also tied the Nobu Getaway package to the World of Nobu, offering a one-night stay in a deluxe room and two tickets to the Thursday night cocktail party for AED 2,845 ($750).
